The band ABACAB, previously named CONTRESENS, was created in the early 90s. The band originates from the region of Nord-pas-de-Calais in Northern France. It performs progressive music and is known for its original concept of half rock- half theatre.« A parody of the world of work ». Influenced by Pink Floyd and Genesis, Contresens has made its mark quickly thanks to its original lyrics in French, strong rhythm section and unique scenography. After 10 years of experience, 200 concerts given all around France and with numerous awards Contresens has given way to a new Neo-progressive musical project Abacab.
