Descendu sur Terre (“Down to Earth”) is the second part of the “elements” triptych released by Grandval. This conceptual album investigates the place of mankind on Earth, its relations with Nature and animal kind, from the twofold point of view of a human storyteller and a wolf, unless it’s the other way around… The poetic writings invite you into personal thinking and daydream experience through the roll-out of a crossover prog initiated in À ciel ouvert… (“Open Skies…”). Alternatively atmospheric, psychedelic and symphonic, between classical progressive rock, AOR and clearly modern art rock, Descendu sur Terre (“Down to Earth”) set up its mark thanks to the drumming contribution of Jean-Baptiste Itier (Nemo) and the heavy involvement (as musician and co-producer) of Jean Pierre Louveton (JPL, Nemo, Wolfspring). A new destiny for the Auvergne band.
